Fantastic Sams Hair Salons

Horrible. If I could give no stars I would. I've been to this FS's 4 or 5 times in the past couple years. I never had a problem (and in fact was totally good with my cut) until the last 2 times I went there. Both times horrible cuts. Why did I go back? Well, I figured it was a fluke. But, no. I was in there a couple days ago and asked for a trim: about an inch. She washed, cut, I paid, put my hair up (I have a baby who loves to grab hair) and went home. The next day I actually did my hair. There was multiple small chunks in the front that were longer than the rest, my bangs were uneven, the back was crooked and came to a point by my right shoulder blade, and both sides of the front were noticeably shorter than the back. Horrible. I will never go there again. I don't have a lot of time to go get my hair done, what with the baby and all and now I have to go find a new place and pay again for something that should have been done right the first time. I fixed my bangs and the chunks in front and will be doing ponytails/braids/buns for the next little bit until I can get it fixed.
I was a walk in customer, I was greeted has soon as i walked through the door and then I was giving the stylist (Mashaun) where she was super friendly and paid attention to detail and knew the hair cut that I was looking for. Everything about the visit from start to the end was very positive all, of the staff was super friendly and very positive. I will be a return customer.
Second worst haircut I have had in my life, I'm 51 so that is saying a lot. There are lots of "hair school" graduates in Utah, so I figured that there was a good likelihood that there would be a pretty good stylist there. I could not have been more wrong. In spite of the fact that I had a picture and I told her that I had a wedding to go to in 2 days, she hacked my hair to death. Left and right sides don't match, big chunk taken out of the right side (makes my hair look not feminine and sweet but more like a Hitler Youth haircut--if i was a punk skater I would look pretty good...) I don't even want to think about what the back looked like--a chop job with a crooked neckline. Choppy and uneven around my ears and my "sideburns", well one is markedly shorter than the other. I told her I wanted it texturized--she never even touched the top of my hair, nor did she try to trim my bangs. Horrible. Since she didn't style it and I went home with wet hair (no offer to do so...) I didn't see how bad it was until I got home and attempted to style it. It is beyond help. What? you want me to come back so you can fix it? What makes you think I would trust you to fix it when you couldn't do it right the first time? I could have taken off my glasses and done a better job...
