I just left this salon without even getting my nails done. The technician working on my mothers nails was rude and condescending. She kept insisting someone would help me as soon as they were done when lots of the other technicians were sitting around doing nothing. This is the third time I've tried going there and the same thing has happened every time. You don't tell a customer they'll wait less than 10 min then actually keep them waiting for an hour. I will personally never go back there and will let all of my friends know the same. You all should be ashamed of yourselves for doing business this way.
I don't think I've actually had a worse experience getting my nails done. I don't even know the girl's name that did my nails, but she was very rude. She started my pedicure water on cold then walked away for 15 minutes. I had an entire phone conversation before she returned and when she finally did, she didn't say a word to me. She started working, and everything seemed fine until she asked what color I wanted. I handed her the color I picked out and asked if she could put tiger stripes on my toes. We went over what I meant by tiger stripes two times, so I figured by that time she understood. Then she took off her gloves, stuffed them in the planter behind her, picked up my flip flops, set them next to me, and walked off for another 10 minutes. Once she came back, I asked if she wanted me to put them on, and she seemed irritated that I hadn't done so already. As I slid them on, she picked up her gloves from the planter, and herded me to the manicure area. I started off by asking her to cut my nails done to "pretty short". She might as well had left them their length because she hardly took them down at all. I also saw her definition of square shape was one corner noticeably higher than the other, and filing seemed to be impossible for her to manage. The massages on both my hands and feet consisted of her loading oil on me, barely touching me for less than a minute, then leaving it all on me. She puts the color on and starts to paint the stripes, which we went over ONE LAST TIME. Clearly in three explanations, I could not convey to her exactly what I wanted so I told her to forget putting it on my toes. Usually stripes cause nail polish to splatter on the skin around the nails, but no big deal because the technician cleans it off-- not this time. The last coat was ready to be put on and she globbed it all over my nails. I mean the final-coat polish actually shifted to one side of my nail and threatened to drip off. She basically condemned my nails to never drying-- ever. To top all of this off, I was holding my nails in front of the fan to dry and she started to grab for my purse. I was about to ask why on earth she was touching my personal items and she asked if I needed help getting my money out. I said fine, she ran my card, and after seeing that I had cash as well as card, she asked if I would tip her in cash before I even wrote her tip in on the credit card slip. I signed the card slip, she took it from me, picked up the gloves that she previous used on my pedicure, and put them back on to start the next pedicure. I expect to have fungus under my toenails in the next few days. I wonder how many pedicure those gloves had before me... Anyway, it's awful there. Don't ever go unless you love your purse rummaged through, cold pedi water, no common courtesy, and anti-cleanliness.
