Online check in was very convenient, price is right, I was in and out with a great haircut, no complaints!
HORRIBLE! Do not get your hair cut here if you have wavy or curly hair. They stylist butchered my daughters thick wavy hair. WE took great lengths to discuss length and her texture of hair. The stylist hacked all the way up the back of her head with so many short layers. Her hair was to be past her chin (inverted) but somehow ended up looking like Carol Brady without any of the length. The layers will take forever to grow back out again. A inverted bob is all we wanted. Go someplace else.. we will.
Took my (African-American) daughter there for a trim and shampoo. I thought this was simple enough. Hair cutter first combed out my daughter's hair and then shampooed it. Afterwards, she told me that she didn't have any experience cutting "curly" hair, but she'll do her best. I think she should of cut her hair when it was dry and straight after she combed it out. Anyway, she had a "oh my God" attitude about the whole thing. She did cut her hair and numerous times told me that my daughter needed a perm, she only cuts straight or chemically straightened hair. I wish she had told me that she couldn't cut her hair from the outset rather than wasting our time. From now on, I'll go to a black salon. Forget "great (not) clips."
Do not get your hair cut here! I took my son here to get a trim. The asian lady butchered it. Bad. My son keeps his hair a little long, like most teens who skate do. I explained that we have a funeral to go to and want it trimmed and cleaned up a bit. His hair was hacked up so bad that I refused to pay and took him somewhere else to get it fixed. Needless to say, his hair has no length at all now. Master Cuts made it look better, but it is nothing close to what my son's style is. It will take several months to grow back. I will never go to the hacks at Great Clips again.
Great Clips is like any other chain salon (or probably any other Salon for that matter) - The trick is to finding a stylist you like, and then only seeing that person, even if it isn't on the day you wanted your hair cut. Joy cuts my hair here, and does a great job.
