The first experience was great. Paid $70 for a shellac mani and chocolate pedicure. My nails chipped in 5 days. I called and they said they were guaranteed for one week. When I got there to get them repaired, I was asked to come back in 30 minutes. When I returned, I sat for another 15 minutes until someone finally asked what I needed. I was then sat in a recliner for another 10 minutes until I was asked by another girl what I needed. She put acetone on to soak off the chipped shellac and I sat for another 15 minutes. The only reason I stayed was that she had destroyed my nails by soaking them. Now, 9 days in, I have two more chipping. I have had shellac constantly for almost 2 years and it always lasts at least 2 1/2 weeks. I don't know if they use an inferior product or if they don't take their time. The girls were running from person to person and it looked like everyone was confused and rushing. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!
This used to be one of my favorite places for a pedicure. It is still one of the better places, but I think in the past 18 months or so there has been a change in management. The services aren't quite as good. I notice the biggest difference is the foot massage portion of the pedicure and the fact that the menu has changed. It is similar, if not the same, as JC Nail spa in Northfield. They aren't as friendly as before either and there are lots of new girls. I'll probably continue going back for a while, but I will also keep an eye out for new places.
The BEST pedicure I've ever had. The spend time on the massage (my favorite part) and use chocolate. I always smell like a Mrs. Field Choc chip cookie when I leave. The place is tastefully decorated and clean! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is b/c even when you make an apt, you have to wait a decent amount of time. Busy place!
This place is fantastic! I had the most relaxing massage on legs and arms and the polish looks wonderful! Prior postings about sets are totally wrong. They don't do anything but manicures and pedicures.
Overall experience was pretty good. I am 8 months pregnant and went specifically for a relaxing time and did feel like the actual pedicure delivered that. The girl gave me an awesome and very relaxing massage and was really sweet and took her time. However, there were 4 of us and we had made an appointment for noon, didn't get seated until 12:30, and even then only3 of us got to sit...and not even together. The 4th had to wait for another 15 min to even start hers. I'm not sure the benefit of making an appointment if we don't get to get in on time and don't get to sit together...but the actual pedicure itself was nice.
