I've checked out a few different salons around town over the past three years, even some more expensive places. I've finally found a stylist here that I love (Kelsey B.). I have long red hair, and she cuts and colors it perfectly and the price is very reasonable! Also my sister has a short bob and JulieAnn at Mia Maxx does a great job on her hair as well.
I've tried similar places like Mia and Maxx couple times but I think overall, Mia and Maxx is the best. I've heard both good and bad things about them but it really depends on who cuts your hair. I get my haircuts by Ashley and she is fantastic!!! So find the right hair stylist for you! I always had a great time with Ashley but one time, I got haircut done by an old lady because I did a walk-in instead of making an appointment. Well, I was pretty disappointed by her but other hair stylists are great. So be sure to make an appointment and find the right stylist for you! As long as you do that, this place is great. The pricing is fair and all the stylists are very friendly. :)
My aunt has cut my hair all of my life, but tends to just do what she feels like. About 6 months ago, I called and got an appointment here to fix a botched bang cutting job. I wound up with Dave (the guy I think someone referred to in another review). He cut off about 14 inches and made my bangs wonderful. I've been going ever since. All I have to do is give him a vague description of what I want and he goes and makes it perfect.
